On Saturday July 9, the Wahawk softball team traveled to Ames for the second round of substate games.
Riding off a four point home run in the second inning, the Little Cyclones pulled through with a victory as the intense game ended with a final score of 9-4.
Falling short in the substate game closed off the softball season for the Wahawks. West High ended off the 2022-23 season with a final record of 13-21.
