First Fall Dance Clinic and Senior Night for West High Dance Team

This year our dance team did its first fall dance clinic for kids in elementary and middle school. All that participated got shirts and best of all they were able to perform during the JV Football halftime show. On October 16th any child who signed up to participate gets a routine and then they perform on October 21st. The kids learned their dance at West High on Sunday, October 16th from 4:30-6:30 pm.
On October 21st it was also senior night for the West Dance Team and I think it is very important to highlight our Senior dancers, Gabriel Frazier, Mylee Lagow, Sierra Meeks, and Brooke Dunn. They have all been in dance for many years and have accomplished so much while dancing for West but most of all they love learning and all the opportunities dance has given them over the years.
When Senior Gabe Frazier was asked how it felt to be recognized on senior night he said ¨It felt honoring to be recognized for what I want to do and have done. I´m not always proud to be a Wahawk but at that moment from the things I do I was proud¨.
