Patrick Togba has been playing soccer since he was five years old, when he fell in love with the sport. Togba has played on the Wahawk soccer team since he was a freshman, also playing for a club team.
Togba committed to the Hawkeye Community College soccer team where he said he has great relationships with the coaches as they have been coaching him in his club team for the past four years.
Going into the college environment, Togba says “I am looking forward to building relationships with my teammates and working hard to make my team win, and most importantly to have fun.” He believes that his time at West will play a large role in his college experience, “I learned a lot of lessons on and off the field from my friends and coaches.”
As he exits West High, Togba says he will miss his coaches and the relationships he has built as a Wahawk but will alway cherish his time in high school.
