The three seniors leaving at semester reflect on their experience on the Wahawk Insider staff.

Cassie Graff, Cavelle Fay and Kaitlin Stanford, three seniors at West High, were part of the small yet mighty group that helped jump-start our first year of the Wahawk Insider. They all have very busy schedules and have had a great time being a part of the first-ever Wahawk Insider staff.

Graff enjoyed her time on the Wahawk Insider for multiple reasons. The first reason is the people. “The people in this class make me a happier, nicer person, and just a better person overall.  I have loved being able to meet new people that I would have probably never met before if it wasn’t for the Wahawk Insider. We all feel like a family. I will never forget the countless memories I’ve made with the class. I hope that The Spectator and the Wahawk Insider continue to thrive and develop for countless years in the future.”

Fay also had a very impactful time while on the Wahawk Insider staff. “Wahawk Insider has impacted me more than any class ever has. This class isn’t even a class for us, we all genuinely love what we are doing. Not only do we love what we are doing but we are all family and good friends, it has helped me gain one of the best friendships I have right now. Wahawk Insider is a class everyone should try to sign up for so they can be a part of something big.”

Stanford loved expanding her horizons by taking this class and being a part of the first-ever Wahawk Insider staff. “What impacted me the most being a part of the Wahawk Insider is the people we got to meet and the opportunities we had. We got to write amazing articles, talk to some awesome people, and I made a lot of good friends in this class. I will miss our bell tradition and expressing our accomplishments.”

This class isn’t even a class for us, we all genuinely love what we are doing… Wahawk Insider is a class everyone should try to sign up for so they can be a part of something big.
