On Tuesday October 24, the Wahawks took on the Cedar Falls Tigers in the regional championship sub-state game. With Cedar Falls having a home court advantage, they went on to take the win with three back to back wins over West High. The first set finished with a 17-25 score, the second set finishing with a 24-26 score and finally the third set ending with 13-25.
Following their victory, Cedar Falls will move on to the 5A state volleyball tournament in Coralville.
