Brooklynn Berumez, Yearbook Co-Editor-in-Chief, Reporter
Brooklynn Berumez is a senior at West High. She serves as a Co Editor-in-Chief for the Wahawk Yearbook. This is her first year on the Wahawk Insider staff. Aside from the journalism program, Brooklynn is a captain for the Wahawk Color Guard team, and involved in Writing Club, Spanish Club, the Quill and Scroll Honor Society, and Theater. Outside of West, you can find Brooklynn hanging out with her dogs and friends or listening to music.
Syndy Morin, Reporter
(she/her) Syndy Lu Morin is a junior at West High and this is her first year on staff. Outside of Wahawk Insider, she is involved in Student Senate, French Club, and Concert Choir! Syndy uses her videography skills for UNI’s Upward Bound program while being active in their student council. Syndy is also a Video Coordinator for the West High Football team and helps with the Theater and Speech Marketing Team! When she is not with a camera, you can find her attending concerts, going on hikes, and buying vinyl records!
Mackenzie Johnson, Social Media Editor
(She/Her) Mackenzie is a Junior at West High, and this is her second year on staff on Wahawk Insider and first year on yearbook. She is the social media editor for Wahawk Insider. Outside of Wahawk Insider and yearbook, she is involved with Student Senate, Dance Team, and Link Crew. Outside of school, Mackenzie loves being outside, taking photos, and working at Bambinos Bakery.
